A closer, a set of hinges, a lock or an exit device can be replaced without replacing the door. When rust has gone through the door and the frame, new ones are the better value, and we will say so.

Someone tried to pry the door open. Can it be repaired?
Often it can. A bent latch edge, a damaged lock or a strike can usually be repaired or replaced, and a latch guard can go on over the latch. If the door or frame is bent past straightening, we will price a new one.
Do you repair pedestrian doors you didn't install?
Yes. We repair steel pedestrian doors, frames and hardware of any make, including ones another company put in and ones that came with the building.
The bottom of the door and frame is rusted through. Repair or replace?
Replace. Steel that has rusted through does not come back, so that is a new door, a new frame, or both. Estimates on new door installations are free.
Do you work on fire-rated doors and storefront doors too?
Yes. We repair and install fire-rated doors, and the aluminum and glass storefront doors at the front of the building.
