Rolling security grille repair and installation

Rolling security grilles close off parking garages, storefronts, malls, schools and counters: locked, with air and sightlines through. On a parking garage they get hit by vehicles often. We repair every make for businesses in Seattle, Everett, Lynnwood and Edmonds, and install new grilles.

What is the grille doing?

Hood, barrel and springs

The grille rolls up on a steel barrel under the hood. Springs inside the barrel carry the weight, so the grille can be lifted by hand, chain or motor.

A car hit our garage grille and it is stuck. What now?

Leave the grille where it is and call 425-776-5162. The line is answered 24 hours a day, and an on-call technician can come out nights, weekends and holidays. If the full repair needs parts, we secure the opening first.

Do you repair grilles and operators you didn't install?

Yes. We repair rolling security grilles and their operators of any make, including ones another company put in and ones that came with the building.

Can a bent grille be repaired, or does it need replacing?

Often it can be repaired. Bent rods and links, a bottom bar or a guide can usually be replaced on their own. When the damage runs across most of the curtain, a new grille is the better value, and we'll say so.

Grille or solid rolling door: which do we need?

A grille locks the opening and still lets air and sightlines through, which suits parking structures, mall storefronts and counters. A rolling steel door closes the opening completely. We install both.

Can a grille we lift by hand have a motor?

We install automatic operators that make raising and lowering a grille easier. Whether one can be added to yours depends on the grille, so call and we will take a look.
